So, I have actually been writing for like at least an hour, maybe 90 minutes… something like that.
BUT! I’ve finally started the world building part of my book that’s been just BEGGING to be written. I had a dream last night and then today various things started clicking in my brain, a few TikToks caused some of the clicking… haha!, and VOILA! I’m writing! I am LOVING IT TOOOOOO!!!

So no poem, or short story or anything will be shared today. Oh well. At least I’m writing!

I don’t know the plot yet… not really. I’m just world building right now. I’m playing with a few plot ideas, but that will come.

It’s set on Washington/Oregon coastline, but like in another dimension.. or maybe just like 1000 years ago, I’m not sure yet. I kind of want it to be current time/alternate universe. As of now, it’s almost current time real life, but with a few changes. Kind of…. We’ll see. There is a group of people, (whose name I’m not releasing yet, it’s a name that just appeared in my head, but I need to make 100% sure it’s not anything that currently exists) that this centers around. They are magickal (spelled correctly) beings. They have some pretty cool features about them. They are fully human, but who have evolved ahead of us “normal” humans. They live separate from us, but are on the same path as current humans. More on that later.

There are Elves, Fae, Merfolk and obviously dragons! The biggest pieces of the story will be between the ____ People and dragons, but the other beings come into play as well, like archangels and evil things, too. IDK how yet.

I don’t want to share too much, or give anything away just yet. I am still in the first, like, 1000 words of just world building… lots to do still.

See, I’m using that creative writing degree after all!!!!!!! Maybe this book will pay for those loans… Yes, please!
