Life Update
My son and I moved to Phoenix in June, as you know. However, he hated it here and moved back to WA a few weeks ago. I’m sad, but he’s happier, so that’s what matters. His eyes are as magickal as his mama’s.
I got a new roommate a week later! He’s a friend/colleague/my massage therapist haha! He’s an amazing young man and I’m excited he’s here. He’s 24, so just a wee bit older than my boys, and it feels great to have young energy bounding about the place all the time. It’s a soothing salve for that empty nester ache, you know? Outside of the Army barracks life, this is the first roommate I’ve ever had that wasn’t a spouse or a kid. It’s kind of nice. Two people to split chores and the rent! Having him here makes me not get lazy with messes I make. He’s also just wonderful to chat with. He got out his guitar the other night and sang songs. I loved it.
This whole experience has been quite lovely! Connor is a fantastic massage therapist, by the way. 10000/10 highly recommend. He’s also one of my favorite people on the planet. Just an all around lovely young man.
My business is slowly seeing tiny bits of progress, which is lovely. Now that I’m fully anchored here, I can feel myself being ready to really get out there and meet people and serve. It took a few months to get here, but that is perfectly normal. I’ve attended a few networking events and have been meeting wonderful people.

A few weeks ago I met a personal trainer/physical therapist guy and I hired him! He’s already helping me fix all the bits that cause me pain. Soon I’ll pay him again to help me continue losing fat and gaining muscle. The slow, healthy, safe way. A year ago I was a 16/18 mostly 18. Now I’m a solid 14, so I’m already doing the work. I just would like to do it sans pain, you know. His name is Gianni and he knows his stuff! He’s also incredibly kind and adorable. I just love the guy and am so happy I met him and his wife at a networking meeting. You should hire him too!

I am dating again! As in I’m on a dating app and attempting to meet men. Dating these days, and in my 40s is so weird! I’m in no rush, so just taking it one day at a time and not stressing. I’ll find whoever it is I’m looking for in due time. No photos for this section yet, haha!
Learning to paint is super cool!
A month or so ago I started learning how to paint with watercolors. It’s fun. Allowing oneself to be bad at something is how we start something new and hopefully become good at it. Or not, just enjoy the process regardless. It’s very relaxing. Specially with no pressure to be great at it.
What’s coming up next?
In November, I’ll be attending Healer’s Academy Week 2 where I’ll be learning 10 new healing modalities, like the Full Spirit Activation, Spark of Life – distance healing, Soul Retrieval, Shamanic Aura Clearing, and more. I’m so excited for this class, y’all!
Now that the weather is cooling off and PT is helping things not hurt anymore, there will be a lot more photography happening. Both nature/abstract stuff and branding and portrait work. I’m super excited for this new season here in Phoenix.
I’m about to launch a 12-week Spiritual Coaching Program that will start in January. I’m super excited for it! Be on the lookout!
